Enerscapes is a project part-funded by the European Union MED Programme that investigate and evaluate the impacts that a non-regulated diffusion of RES could cause on Mediterranean territories and landscapes.

On October 28th and 29th, all the Enerscapes partners attended the meeting organized by the Province of Vercelli. The meeting, organized after 5 months from the kick off meeting in Malta, was mostly focused on the first step of the project: the analysis and recognition of the pilot project context.

The participants had the opportunity to evaluate the status of the project and to debate after critical points and doubts encountered in starting Enerscapes.

The main topics discussed were:

  1. The regulatory framework, concerning RES and landscape
  2. Method and definition of the area for the pilot project
  3. Landscape and RES potentialities of the selected area
  4. Assessment method definition
